Primary Skills Soccer: Juniors & PeeWee Teams
Calendar: Richmond Warhawks Soccer Calendar
Registration is Closed for the Fall 2018 Season .
Practices started Tuesday September 4th and after that will be every Monday.
Description: The Warhawks Soccer Primary Skills is for elementary-aged home schooled students, ages 3-11. The program consists of three levels: Juniors (ages 8-11) and PeeWee (ages 5-7) and Tiny Tots (3-4).
The Juniors team plays games with teams in the Stony Point League each Fall. This is a great opportunity for younger players to make friends, develop soccer skills, get exercise and prepare for Middle School and eventually Varsity soccer.
Location & Schedule:
Tiny Tots (Ages 3-4) and Pee-Wee Team (Ages 5-7)
The PeeWee level is primarily focused on skill-building, and meets once weekly for practice. When feasible, scrimmages are arranged with other like-aged teams.
(***other than the first practice on Tuesday the 4th Due to labor day***)
Juniors Team (Ages 8-11)
The Juniors level includes both skill-building and games. In the first few weeks of the season, no games are held. During these weeks, the Junior team practices Monday and Thursday nights from 4:30 to 6 PM. Once league play begins, the team will practice on Mondays and then play games on Thursdays.
Practice: The Junior team practices Monday and Thursdays* from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at Taylor Park in Ashland (13017 Taylor Complex Ln, Ashland VA 23005) on Monday evenings. (*until the game season begins)
Games: All games will take place Thursdays on the soccer field of Sabot at Stony Point. (3400 Stony Point Road, Richmond, VA 23235), times varying weekly. See the Soccer Calendar for details.
