FAST PITCH SOFTBALL INFORMATION

Richmond Spirit Athletics has formed a varsity fastpitch softball team and is now forming its inaugural season for the Spring of 2009. We are looking for additional to play either scrimmages or actual umpired games this coming spring 2009 season. We even have our own field. Our head coach is Ken Adams, the coach of the reigning 13U NSA National Champions, the Virginia Lady Titans, and now is an assistant coach of their 18U team.

The team’s current 12 player roster includes: Carly Adams and Caylyn Adams – both play for the VA Lady Titans Courtney McNamara-plays for the Richmond Rampage Angela Neiman and Christa “Scoop” Simon- both play for the reigning 14U National Champion Hanover Thunder Red team. Angie and CeCe Satchel-both formerly played for the Richmond Ruckus 14U team. Plus 5 other players with some travel and recreational softball experience.

Our purpose in sharing our coach and these player’s names and playing experience is to demonstrate the team’s competitiveness despite being its first year of formation. Please seriously consider playing with us. The experience will be positive and developmental . Please give our team a try. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at the high level of play and Christian sportsmanship we embody in our game. Thank You.
